W.A.A.R. on Monday

Weekly After Action Report for things you may have missed last week.

Last week, like most weeks, lots of things happened. Stay safe with some knowledge you might have missed.

Smith & Wesson Splits

American Outdoor Brands and is breaking off Smith & Wesson. This is could be a smart move after Remington Arms is now going to be in a long court battle over a Bushmaster being used at Sandy Hook.

This gives some split between the gun side and the other commerce they are doing. Even-though 70% of their revenue is from firearms.

Smith & Wesson was brought into American Outdoor Brands a couple years ago. I really think it was to hide the Smith name and the fact that they made firearms. They failed and now they are reversing the decision.

Smith has been trying to play nice since Sandy Hook with people that just want to destroy them and the firearms industry. I hope they go back to being Smith & Wesson, a great American Firearms Company that goes back to the Civil War.

Supreme Court Refuses to Hear Remington Arms Case

This is going to be a weird case. I’m interested in watching it, but worried that there is no way a partial jury or judge will be found.

We will see if the law will stand or if politics will rule. We will see. I am not as hopeful as I should be. Our legal system does not always give the justice it should. And it doesn’t always follow the law.

Is this the beginning of the end?
