As Crime Skyrockets, Guess Who’s to Blame?
I think the photo says it all. All the politicians are looking for someone / something to blame for what is happening with violent crime in our cities. The truth is the crime is just an out growth of all the decisions that have been made over the last generation. Very complex and very hard to put your finger on one thing. It’s probably a total of 10 to 50 things that have been done over the last 20-30 years. On top of that, violence seems to cycle like anything else. But now the numbers seem to be jumping and it is concerning.

Numbers without context never work anywhere. This article just shows how news outlets just want to take a number to make a story. Most of the time it’s not evil they are just looking for a shocking headline to get you to read. It seems the truth is always buried deep in the numbers and you have to read everything to find out what they mean.

This proves that when someone wants you in court they will use anything you do or don’t do against you.
All you can do is the best you can, survive, know the law, and be mentally and morally straight.
What I’m Reading
This is an amazing book about slavery, then and now.
The heroic stories and history will give you a different perspective on what is going on right now in our country.
It also exposes an evil we thought we had eradicated after fighting one of the bloodiest wars in modern history, the American Civil war. Turns out that slavery got worse and just went underground around the world.
Evil exists in our world. Just because you don’t see it, or want to see it, doesn’t change the fact that it is there. Yes, I call it evil. What else would you call a person that keeps a young child as property and then rents that child out for sexual favors to others multiple times a day?
Go read the book (Slave Stealers), it could change the way you look at our world.
