Every time you do something do an after action review:
- What went well
- What needs practice
- What needs to be changed
Formal After Action:
- Go through step-by-step
- Do it as soon as you can
- Take input from everyone involved
- Write it down
- Change your plan
- Test again
Informal
- Write down notes to organize your thoughts
- Don’t forget what went well
- Set yourself up for success next time
