This Ammo Land article is a great title but has a hidden message in the article. Yes guns rights won out in Washington State but the other part of the the article talks about permits being slowed or stopped in multiple states because Of the virus.
We are now in a national emergency in case you missed it. This is not the thing to end mankind or even the United States. So here is the first lesson to learn from this; you must have your affairs in order before things happen with the government.
You know how slow government agencies are during normal times, why would you think when times are bad that they will be better?
I don’t know if the agencies in question are doing the permitting slowly or not at all as a anti-gun tactic, incompetence, or being overwhelmed. All three have happened in the past and will happen again. The problem for you is once the crisis starts you will not be able to get paperwork done until it’s over.
So start all your paperwork on things ASAP. Texas lets you renew your permit to carry up to 6 months in advance. For me it was 6 months minus two days the last time I did it. I filed for the renewal the day their system would let me.
