Weekly After Action Report for things you may have missed last week.

Last week, like most weeks, lots of things happened. Stay safe with some knowledge you might have missed.

The Dangers of Open Carry

Open carry can be a good idea and a bad idea. You make the choice, just know the dangers when you do it.

When the “open carry movement” first started there where only a couple stories. For a time there was one good one and one bad one floating around. Now the bad ones have well over taken the good ones.

So, if you are going to open carry, know what you are getting into. And use a retention holster please!

Leadership from the Art of War

Here is a list done by the Art of Manliness on good and bad traits Sun Tzu put into the Art of War. Yes, that art of war. It had a lot to say about leadership and that could win wars.

Still true today. These traits will help you in your life and if you ever have to defend yourself or your family.

Check out the video, and go through your home defense plane. Read the article about what happened and take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen to you.

Mosin-Nagant History

This is a historic rifle that I actually own one of. It’s an amazing piece of old world craftsmanship that we just don’t see anymore in a rifle.

My favorite part about the rifle is its balance. If you haven’t held one you can’t appreciate it.

Next time you get around one, take the time to pick it up, feel the balance point and shoulder the rifle. It just hangs there like a good rifle should.

The history of the rifle is really crazy and fun to research.
