Banned by Instagram.

Insta stupid.

This could happen to anyone that loves freedom. The only thing these people that are doing the banning care about is money. If we make a big enough stink about it to the point they think they will lose money, then they will fix it.

Other then that some know nothing, paid next to nothing, dork that think he or she is king because they have the power to nuke accounts finds something they don’t like and ideas they don’t like and get rid of accounts.

A bunch of this has happened on Facebook and Youtube, but somehow when it was going to lose the platforms money, like Hickock45 being cut off. When he ended up on the news and Good Morning America suddenly Youtube said it was an accident.

If we keep pushing back on these people where it counts, there wallet, we can make a difference.

Don’t Glock Yourself

Chris at Lucky Gunner talks about a back plate for your Glock that can keep the gun from firing during holstering.

It doesn’t solve all the safety issues with a Glock, but it does make think that I might carry one Appendix with this device added.

I’d like to try it a lot before I trusted it on a carry gun. Anything you put on your Glock makes it less reliable. So buyer beware.

Institutional Memory

Greg at Active Response Training wrote a great article with an amazing list of old books. The books that today’s gun fighting has been based on. If you truly want to be a student of gun fighting, you should know what was used in the past and why.

I’ve read about half the books on the list and put a bunch of them on my to read list. There is nothing new under the sun. Most of the techniques that are new and exciting are coming back from these books.

If you where only going to read three and have a handle on modern gun fighting and where it came from read: Shooting to Live by Fairbain and Sykes, Principles of Self Defense by Jeff Cooper, and Practical Shooting by Brian Enos.

Looking at the price of the first two on the list make me think I should sell my copies. They are getting expensive the longer they get out of print, but still worth the price.

Check out Greg’s list and put some of them on your reading list and start knocking them off.

Great Ear Pro at a Great Price

I’ve head the first and second generation of these.

This is a great price on these and the first sets I had lasted longer then 5 years each. And you can trust the company Botach. I’ve bought things from them over the years and never had a problem.

This is such a great price I thought I’d share.
