W.A.A.R on Monday

Weekly After Action Report for things you may have missed last week.

Last week, like most weeks, lots of things happened. Stay safe with some knowledge you might have missed.

Trump Being Impeached… Again…

The entire Whistle Blower thing seems suspect to me. It seems to be I heard other people say that President Trump did this wrong thing and now others are saying he’s trying to cover it up. Sounds like everyone at CNN to me.

But (a big but here), this should be investigated to see if it’s true or not. No person, especially the President of the United States, should be above the law.

Legal Insurrection is my source for a lot of stuff that happens because they give links and site sources of information. In this article you will see the entire 9 page report you can read for yourself and the actual testimony Joseph Maguire. Go read it and watch it for yourself if you want to argue about it…

Me… what ever. I don’t believe anything that comes from FOX or CNN. They both have cried wolf for the last 16 or more years that I can remember and I’m tired of it.

Thoughts on Defending Yourself Against a Dog Attack…

Maybe a stick is better then a gun? Do you really want to shoot someone’s dog. I’ve never really wanted to shoot a dog. I’ve wanted to shoot their owners for some of the things they have trained the dogs to do and they way they treat their dogs… but that’s another story.

Aggressive dogs are a problem that could seriously hurt or kill someone. You should be prepared for a dog attack as well as a human attack.

Read the story in Dean’s article and think of how you can win the attack without getting seriously hurt. Is there a way you can do it without killing the dog?

The First Rule of a Gun Fight by Massad Ayoob

Just a PSA (Public Service Announcement) form Massad Ayoob. If you are going to be in a gun fight then you should have a gun.

I think, if you don’t have a gun, it won’t be much of a gun fight.

Awareness and Managing Unknown Contacts

From Gun Culture 2.0 is a review and some lessons from Crag Douglas (AKA South Nark) and his class ECQC.

This course is on my list or courses to take because of one simple phrase quoted in the article from Crag, “A good self-defense course should begin with not letting it get shitty.”

He specializes in managing unknown contacts to keep you from having to go to your gun. Much better to talk your way out of trouble then shoot your way out of it.
