Here are a couple things you may have missed last week.
This week I’m a week behind, but am back to work. My mother died last week and I spent the week with my family working out everything.
I learned two things you might want to know:
1) There is way more work than you would have thought of to clean up her estate even when everything goes to her husband (my father). I’m helping him with everything and will continue for another couple weeks to get it closed out.
2) It is so easy to hack someone’s accounts. I have control of her email, phone, and Social Security Number. I have had to hack into half of her accounts to close them and see what is going on. It is way too easy with little to no real computer knowledge. So be aware…
Los Police Department Dump a Man out of his Wheelchair
Videos don’t always tell the entire story.
Did you see this video and did you analyze what was going on or did you get pissed because LAPD miss treated a man in a wheelchair?
Does it change if you know the man in the wheelchair was a convicted felon?
Does it matter if you knew he had a gun in his backpack?
Or does it matter that during a protest before the video started that the guy in the wheelchair slapped a police officer in the face?
Does it matter if this wasn’t a protest towards these couple officers? This group came upon the officers arresting three other people for unrelated activities and were not part of the group/protest.
Does it matter that this group of around 50 people blocked the five or six police officers from leaving with their prisoners?
Does it matter that the group was chanting “let them go”?
A video only tells one small perspective of any event and only for a small time frame.
If you are going to watch these videos, watch them a couple of times, and watch for everything going on, not just the small part that is highlighted.
And don’t watch them with commentary from someone from the mass media. You will get their spin on it. Watch the video and decide for yourself first. Then find out what other people think.
I think this was a good technique for the officers to use. Once they decided they were going to take the wheelchair man into custody and he wanted to fight, the best tactic they could have used was dump him out of his chair.
I hope you aren’t judging a book by its cover. I think it doesn’t matter that he was an ex-con and it doesn’t matter that he had a firearm in his backpack. What mattered is what was happening right then and there.
John Farnam has been in the training world for a long time. He’s trained more people than probably anyone else alive right now. This includes police officers. He knows how cops think.
He sees them all “popping blue parachutes” as a symptom of our world’s problems. Officers taking early or partial pensions to get out of police work. I can’t say I blame them… I might do the same.
We need to start asking questions… my current one is; who will protect the protectors? If the good people don’t stand up for police officers when they do the right thing there will be no good police officers left. They will all leave and then what will our police forces look like?

Is anyone surprised that money from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP from COVID) would be gotten by political friends as well as people that didn’t really need it?
This group could have really needed it or just taken advantage of the free government money. Lots of companies’ needed the money and many did not. They took the free money because when there are no checks on the money everyone will take it. I probably would have. I would have advised a company that I was working for to take the money.
When money is dumped out that fast, of course, the rules aren’t correct, of course, there will be loopholes that people will exploit, and of course, political favors will be done, on both sides of the aisle.
In our world, we want black and white, good or bad, right or wrong. Everything to be a binary choice. The only place binary exists in our world is in computer programming languages and computer memory. Everything has another side the story, another perspective to see, and a background that we don’t understand.
Everything we do has unintended consequences and only the truly arrogant think they know all the consequences for sure.
This is an amazing book about slavery, then and now.
The heroic stories and history will give you a different perspective on what is going on right now in our country.
It also exposes an evil we thought we had eradicated after fighting one of the bloodiest wars in modern history, the American Civil war. Turns out that slavery got worse and just went underground around the world.
Evil exists in our world. Just because you don’t see it, or want to see it, doesn’t change the fact that it is there. Yes, I call it evil. What else would you call a person that keeps a young child as property and then rents that child out for sexual favors to others multiple times a day?
Go read the book (Slave Stealers), it could change the way you look at our world.
