Today: Should we arm school teachers? Should school teachers be allowed to be armed? Two different questions. This week we are looking at whether the government should spend tax money (our money) to train and equip school teachers with firearms. It’s a good discussion to have, and one that is long overdue.
The concern I have with the argument going on right now over that question is the primary reason people on both sides of the gun rights debate is money, funding. Who is going to pay? That we can’t afford to take any money away from what is already going on in schools. Stupid argument if you ask me… and here’s why.
