The amount of crap that we use for self defense is amazing! In the Marine Corps I was the guy with the most stuff, and now I seem to be out paced by all the other guys coming up.
On your defensive rifle, how much stuff do you need?
On your defensive handgun, how much stuff do you need?
On your person, how much self defense do you need? And how much should you have?
The first thing to think about is that everything you carry you need to be well trained with and practiced on. Don’t just carry stuff to carry stuff. Someone suggested it is not a good enough reason. Reading the instructions is not enough training.
Listen to the podcast for the rest of the discussion.
Spoiler, Suggestions:
- Rifle: Sling and Mounted Light
- Shotgun: Sling, Mounted Light, Extra Ammo
- Pistol: Holster and Extra Ammo
- On your person: Flash Light, Knife, Pistol
