A day of remembrance and respect. I fought in Iraq and was lucky no one close to me died. It wasn’t until years later I started losing people I knew when they went back on third and even fourth deployments in combat. Then I lost one of my closest friends here in the states. He died on duty as a police officer.
After over a decade of fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan we have all been affected by the loss of someone. The price of freedom is the blood of patriots. Today, take a moment to give thinks to those that have died throughout the years so we can do what we do.
Stay Safe,
Ben
