Prep:

- If you look like a lost tourist you become targets for all sorts of stuff
- Tag your Bags so you can Identify them easily
To Bring:
- Flashlight
- Pen
- Cable Lock
- Carabiners
- Nalgene Water Bottles
- Cane
- TSA to let small knifes on again soon
Knives
- Hide knives in your bag, someplace hard to get to for someone else.
- As soon as you get there get the knife out
Firearms
- Declare an unloaded firearm
- “I need to declare an unloaded firearm”
- Disable your gun
- Austin Almost a problem
- No ammo in or around the gun
- Hard case, locked and only you can have the key or combo according to Federal Law
- Ammo in Manufacturer’s box is easiest
Getting in
- Don’t check in outside too many people
- Watch your stuff and don’t let people get too close to you especially outside security
- Don’t hang out with crowds if you don’t have to Travel when you can avoid crowds
- San Antonio Airport first flight
Inside Security
- Can relax a little
- Criminals are there, but to travel
- Watch out for the Opportunist
On the Plane
- Exits Know where they both are and how many seats are between you and them
- Don’t get trampled
- Isle Seat
- If something happens, calm and tactical patience
- Attack; Surprise, Fast, Deadly (see these posts Shock Force, Speed, Violence of Action)
Getting off
- Patience
- Trampled
- Security Pause
- Get to baggage first, don’t let you stuff go around more then once
- As you walk out, notice exits and where they are
- At the baggage claim know where the exits are
