Gun Grabbing 101

“Deadly Assault Weapon” Not!

Here are the best ways to take legal guns away from Americans.  These aren’t totally proven but have been working on and off for over two decades and have been very successful in other countries.

  1. Use a huge tragedy to get people mad and say “we have to do something!”  Then, have that something in the form of gun legislation to introduce the day after the tragedy.  The faster you can get a vote, the more likely it is to go through.
  2. Use select media resources that will run your story unabridged, unedited, and unchallenged.  Ignore the groups that would challenge you.
  3. If anyone uses facts, go back to emotion.  Emotion is more powerful than facts and can move people so fast that they won’t realize what is going on until you are done.
  4. Anyone that would oppose you should be called crazy or use phrases like “they want to murder your children” and “your way is to allow the slaughter of innocent people!”
  5. Only use data that could be misinterpreted your way.  Example, Piers Morgan “there have only been 34 gun deaths in England and over 11,000 in America.”  Leave out all relevant information like population, and any other crime data that doesn’t support your position.
  6. Whenever possible, don’t site your sources of data.  Someone may actually look it up and figure out that you used number 5.
  7. Don’t answer direct questions.  A skilled conversationalist may take you or the people around you into an intellectual discussion of the facts.  You need to stay with feelings and emotion to win.
  8. When you debate with someone, you aren’t trying to win them over, but only the people that are listening to you.  Never debate unless there is an audience that you can manipulate.  Make the audience hate or laugh at your opponent.  The best way is to use number 4.
  9. Anyone that argues with you should be made to take some form of responsibility for gun violence.  And gun violence is the only thing that matters.
  10. Last and most importantly, this isn’t something we can do all at once.  We need to get the other side to “compromise” so we can take one thing away at a time.

These tactics have worked in Australia and England.  Eventually America can be just like them if the grabbers work together one step at a time.

Never let a serious crisis go to waste,

Gun Grabbers of America

Don’t let these things fool you or the people around you.

Stay Safe,

Ben

  1. I’m not sure he cares. But I do have to say that he has gone out there with his policies. Anytime someone is really passionate about their beliefs a lot of people will disagree. He said he was going to do Obama care when he got elected and did. I do respect him for that, I just disagree with almost everything he believes. And I don’t believe the ends justify the means.

  2. Obama has always been an “Us vs. Them” president in almost all of his policies. It would be nice to have a president that didn’t try to alienate a large part of the country on every issue he pushes. He might not have to worry about getting elected again but you can bet his associates are worried, and we’ll “Remember in November” and send them home.
