I used to work Security at a major mall in Portland, OR. I could NOT stand the Christmas session. The parking lot was jammed with cars. The people are rude and mall is so commerical it makes me sick.
I started my own tradition a couple of years ago. I visit local shops looking for gifts. It is more relaxing. You get to talk to the owners about everday things. And I’m supporting local business. It is a Win Win situation.
I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Thanks J! This week is crazy busy, but I’ll be stopping for the holiday and I will be staying away from the mall.
Have a good Turkey Day!
