Last week there was a video of someone in California walking down a busy intersection with a gun shooting at cars driving by. Have you ever thought of what to do in that situation?
Once you are in your car, it is the best weapon you could possibly have. It’s fast, so you can get away from people and places (not fast enough to outrun a bullet though). It’s strong, people will take time and effort to get in if the doors are locked. It’s big and heavy, and moving at over 30 MPH makes a significant weapon.
If someone tries to attack you while you are in the car, simply drive away. If that isn’t possible, run that person over. If I had been in that California intersection, I would have ran the gunman over.
Just remember that hitting someone with your car is deadly force, and legally you need to be in fear of your life or someone else’s life to use deadly force on another without going to jail.
Stay Safe,
Ben
P.S. You should be using your strongbox everyday by locking the doors when driving. Make it a habit when you get in the car the first thing you do is lock your doors.
