The fight for gun rights

    • Parties: One really anti-gun, other doesn’t seem to care because they won’t take action
  • Picking up a rifle right now is a death sentence

  • War is horrible
  • Starvation
  • Infrastructure totally destroyed
  • Economy Gone
  • American’s Know Violence
    • People coming back from over a decade of war
    • Only 3% fought the first revolution

No Glory in War

  • More death then most people can image
  • The Civil War people wanted to watch
  • Every war can be more bloody then the last

Violence does settle things, just not always in the manner it was intended.

Texans violently revolted against Mexican tyranny and won. The next time Texans took up arms to oppose their supposed oppressors, it ended badly for all.

I spent 34 years in the profession of arms. Then, as now, I view violence as the last resort after all else has failed. Understand, the oath I swore in 1973 has no expiration date. Armed insurrection should come, as it did for the first American revolution, only as a last resort.

Well said sir! Armed insurrection should be avoided at almost any cost.
