You mentioned a study by Masaad Ayoob comparing the ransom rest vs a regular rest in this podcast. would you have a link to that article?

I don’t have that link… I looked for it before the sow and couldn’t find it. He wrote an article about handgun accuracy and testing for a major magazine. It was probably 10 years ago. Wish I had kept it. But I remember his conclusion that if you run off a good rest that is built for a handgun and fire 5 rounds, then take the smallest 3 it would give you the same as a ransom rest.

Sometimes I wish I had a photographic memory so I could remember where I get this info from so I could site it better.

  I was really after a picture of the bench rest you were talking about. Something about an adjustable L shaped rest? I have not seen one and wanted to find one to try rather than spend the big bucks on a Ransom Rest.
