Beyond Concealed Carry is designed to take you from your CHL course to a competent self defense user. This course is great for anyone that knows how a gun works through an advanced shooter that just needs a little practice on things you can’t do on a normal range.
This course starts out with the fundamentals of drawing the gun, reloading, and then moves into multiple follow up shots and shooting on the move. By the end of the day you will be making hits faster then you ever thought possible and doing it while moving. This course will give you the confidence to carry your gun without the fear of doing it wrong. We’ll also go over some legal issues about using deadly force and the mindset you need to win if the worst ever happens to you.
I put this course together by learning from the multiple gunfights I’ve been in, my military experience, my law enforcement experience, and my experience working for an armored car company. I also have done case studies and talked to dozens of people that have actually been in gunfights and won.
From a Law Enforcement officer that had been in multiple gunfights he taught me the most important thing you could ever learn to survive a reactive (the bad guy made the first move) gunfight is the draw to first shot. So that’s where we start this course, how to draw the gun and get the first shot on target.
From multiple other studies and interviews, including FBI statistics, we learn that multiple hits are required to end the fight without getting hurt. So the course quickly progresses into making hits close and fast.
From my own experience in gunfights the one over whelming instinct is to duck and move. So by the end of the day we are working on making hits while moving. I’ll show you how to use your own built-in instincts to win the fight.
